Shipping Policy
Regular Shipping:
Orders received by 10:00 am on regular business days will generally be sent out the same day.
Orders received after 10:00 am on Saturdays or holidays will generally be shipped out the next Anna's business day.
Orders usually arrive within 2 to 3 days of shipping, depending on the destination. Unless special arrangements are made, all orders are shipped USPS Priority Mail and generally arrive within 2-3 days during non-peak periods. Military orders are sent the same way, but delivery takes longer.
Available Shipping Addresses
Anna's ships to residential and business addresses, as well as PO boxes.
Shippments to US Military Personnal
Anna's is pleased to ship to all military personnel with a valid APO or AE address. Additional delivery time is required for all shipments sent to military personnel serving outside the US.
Weekend Business Delivery
The USPS Priority Mail service will attempt weekend delivery to all business addresses. When a business does not accept weekend delivery, delays may occur and an "attempted delivery" message will be left that may require the recipient to make contact with the postal service to claim the package. In these events, the recipient is responsible for contacting the postal service to claim the package. Refunds will not be issued for packages returned to Anna's by the postal service that have not been claimed.
General Business Delivery
Gifts being sent to individuals at a business address should include the business name and office or suite number. (Example: John Smith, Anna's of San Francisco, 1007 Howard Avenue, Suite 101, San Mateo, CA 94401).
Misdelivered, Returned and Undeliverable Packages
Any package that cannot be delivered due to an incorrect or incomplete address or recipient information of any kind, including but not limited to "moved", "forwarding address expired", "addressee unknown", and/or "invalid or incomplete address" which is then returned to Anna's of San Francisco will not be refunded and will only be re-shipped at customer's request and cost. This includes packages returned due to recipient's failure to claim the package following a "delivery attempted" message being left by the USPS. In the event the incorrect address is due to an error by Anna's of San Franacisco, a new gift package will be gladly sent and paid for by Anna's of San Francisco.
Special Delivery Message Requests
If you gift recipient needs special accommodations from the post office, you or they must call the post office or post a message at the delivery location. Anna's has no way to tell the mail delivery person about special delivery requests. Examples of messages we can not communicate to the postal service include: please ring the doorbell, kock loudly when then package is delivered, leave it by the back door - or on the front seat of the truck on the driveway.
Hospital, Hotel and Residential Care Deliveries
You must specify the resident's name, room number and desired arrival date. Anna's is not responsible for gifts once they arrive at the destination address. It is solely the responsibility of the hospital, hotel or residential care personnel to arrange delivery to a specified room.
Sales Tax
Sales tax applies for non-food items such as cookie jars is included in the price.
